1. Your files stay in your browser
Trilatic Desks is a set of static files (HTML, JavaScript, WebAssembly and per-desk Python engine bundles) served from our own origin. When you run a desk:
- Your files are read locally by your browser and hashed into a matter manifest stored in your browser's IndexedDB — never sent anywhere.
- Screening is computed by the desk's engine running in Pyodide (Python in WebAssembly), also in your browser.
- The file, its contents, and every finding or packet computed from it stay in your browser tab. The site sends none of them to us or to anyone else.
You can verify this. Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab and run a desk. The requests you see load site files from our origin, and none of them carries your matter data. The site's Content-Security-Policy blocks loading from third-party origins.
2. Concierge desks are the one exception
A small number of desks (marked "runs on our side" in the desk list) are not in-browser. If you choose to email us files for one of those, that email and its attachments are handled under the NDA terms stated at send time, not by this browser-only pipeline.
3. The only data that reaches our servers
If you contact us or pay for Desk Pass, we receive what you send us directly (your email, or payment details handled entirely by our payment processor — we never see your card number). We do not run analytics or third-party trackers on this site.
